Donna Cassaro-Hughes's Biography

From the young age of eight, Donna Cassaro Hughes has been expressing herself as an artist. She grew up in New York City, surrounded by its incredible museums and culture. Her father, oil painter, Vincent Cassaro, guided her talent and encouraged her to pursue an education at the prestigious School of Visual Arts where she received her BFA. For the past twenty years, Donna has been painting professionally. In addition to oil portraiture, her contemporary landscapes have been an expression of peace and tranquility for collectors throughout the world to enjoy. She has had great success in working on residential as well as commercial commissions and feels that each body of work inspires her next creation. ‘For me, painting has been a great passion. There has always been an internal desire to recreate the beauty around me.”
