Christian Nesvadba's Biography
Although new to Shaw Gallery, Christian Nesvadba is fast becoming one of our most popular artists. Born in 1977 in Vienna, Austria, Christian comes from a family with an artistic heritage - one spanning several generations. His father, Gerhard Nesvadba, a very well known and highly successful artist, identified his artistic talents while Christian was still a boy.
In 1997, when he was only twenty, he won the renowned Salzburger Kulturfonds Prize. Two years later, he held his own impressive exhibition in Vienna, and then made his American debut at the New York Art Expo of 2000.
